SUPER ARMOR® Always Thinking In Firefighters' Shoes And Give Them The Best Experience With EN469 Firefighting Suits

Firefighting garments are crafted from four layers of specialized fabric: an outer shell, a moisture barrier, a thermal barrier, and an inner lining. The design must prioritize ergonomics to ensure that firefighters can move freely. Accurate measurements provided by the wearer are crucial for tailoring a well-fitted suit. Additionally, the manufacturer’s expertise plays a vital role in assessing whether the measurements are accurate enough to create a properly fitting EN469 firefighting suit.

Here’s the story of Taiwan K.K. Corp.'s first experience customizing an EN469 firefighting suit for a larger size.

The firefighter in question is a fire instructor who stands 176 cm tall and weighs 140 kg. Due to his unique body shape, he has always faced challenges in finding appropriate firefighting gear. When our distributor successfully secured a tender from the fire brigade he belongs to, we had the opportunity to assist him.

Initially, the firefighter sought a tailor to take his measurements; however, the results seemed inconsistent. To ensure accuracy, we enlisted the help of our distributor to conduct cross-measurements, taking into account the firefighter's body as well as the dimensions of his casual shirt, trousers, and formal suit. Fortunately, everyone involved was patient and cooperative throughout this process of verifying and checking measurements.

Working closely with our distributor and the firefighter, we aimed for optimal results. Mr. Alex Sornthep who is our distributor, said : "The big suit fits big guy perfectly. He said thank you to me so many times because no one ever had the size for him. This is his first firefighting suit and all of those are FERRARI."
