Wildland firefighters face unique challenges when working outdoors to combat forest and bush fires. In such demanding environments, protective clothing must offer not only reliable safety but also ergonomic design and comfort. The SUPER ARMOR® Wildlander Firefighting Suit has been carefully developed to meet these requirements, ensuring both functionality and durability.
Constructed with KANOX® and MAZIC® inherently flame-retardant fabrics, the Wildlander Suit delivers excellent heat resistance while also providing outstanding protection against sharp objects. With superior tear strength, the fabric resists thorns and abrasive vegetation, reducing the risk of injury as firefighters move through dense grass and bush.
For additional practicality, the trousers feature a concealed knit cuff at the leg bottom, preventing ash, dirt, or debris from entering.
The jacket and trousers are equipped with an internal attachment system that allows them to be joined together, effectively transforming the ensemble into a coverall.
When firefighters take a break, they can remove the jacket while keeping the trousers in place. The trousers include suspenders. When the jacket is taken off, the suspenders can help support the weight of the jacket and pants to ensure greater comfort and mobility during rest periods.
Thanks to the integrated attachment system, the jacket can be secured to the trousers, allowing firefighters to resume operations without delay.
When battling fires in forest environments, firefighters are required to move continuously, which is physically demanding.
