KANOX FIRE RESISTANT
FABRIC IN SPECIFYING THE OUTER SHELL
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THE KANOX FIRE RESISTANT FABRIC ?
|
|
| KANOX
fire resistant fabric utilizes high tech fire resistant fiber and
spinning techniques to produce the most suitable firefighter apparel
and other related types of fabric; aluminum coated, rubber coated,
non-woven cloth, and the inner liner are designed for firefighters.
After flamed, the KANOX fire resistant fabric will not enkindle, melt,
nor curl, and it leaves little damage to the surface of the fabric.
With a thickness of 2mm and 3mm, the KANOX non-woven cloth is fabricated
so it is not only light but also perfect for heat insulating to eliminate
cauterization. KANOX fire resistant inner layer and outer shell can
stand up to intense heat so they are non melting, non curling, non
sticking, and the best of all, they can improve the overall safety
of firefighter garment. |
When
flaming for more than 3 minutes, the burning area doesn't increase
nor get carbonized, and that is what Kanox fire resistant fabric is
all about. Even after flamed, KANOX fire resistant fabric has the
smallest damage compared to other fire resistant fabric available
on the market today. All of these qualities can provide protections
that greatly decrease the chance of danger for firefighting heroes.

were tested done under a temperature of > 900°C
for around 10 seconds. |
|
| |
2) |
Only the KANOX materials
were able to extent the testing time to 3 minutes and still maintain
the damaged surface to less than 3.8%. |
